Kendall and Carter’s story began in 2018 at the University of Oregon, where they were introduced by mutual friends. Kendall, an Oregon Cheerleader, and Carter, a member of the Sigma Chi fraternity, instantly connected. Their bond was undeniable, and seven years later, they’re still going strong.

After graduating in 2020, Carter moved to North Carolina for a job, while Kendall stayed in Portland before landing a medical device sales role in Seattle. Carter followed soon after, and the two spent 3.5 years in Seattle, surrounded by an incredible group of friends.

In June 2024, they made the move to Scottsdale, Arizona, to be closer to Carter's family and enjoy the sunshine. Shortly after the move, during an annual trip to Priest Lake, Carter proposed to Kendall on the dock at Hill's Resort, a special place where the Swan family has vacationed for generations. Both of their families were there to celebrate, sharing in the joy of the moment.

Kendall continues her work in medical device sales as a Respiratory Territory Manager for Olympus, while Carter is a Risk and Insurance Advisor for CAC Group, specializing in the Power and Renewable Energy sectors. They also adopted the cutest puppy in the world, Goose, and now call Scottsdale home.

In January 2025, Kendall's world was turned upside down with the sudden and tragic loss of her father, Neil. Though he is no longer with them physically, his presence is felt every day. They know he’s looking down with pride, watching as they continue to grow both as individuals and as a couple. This celebration of their love will also be a tribute to Neil, remembering him with love and gratitude throughout the weekend.
